A 7 pack of Penguin bars. Two chocolate biscuit layers with chocolate cream between, coated in milk chocolate, individually wrapped, and a joke printed on every single wrapper.
The jokes have been part of it since the 1930s and the standard has been maintained with impressive consistency, which is to say they remain terrible. Children read them out anyway, which is the point.
Product Details
- 7 individually wrapped bars
- Chocolate biscuit with chocolate cream filling
- A joke on every wrapper
- Lunchbox standard
Seven bars covers a school week with two spare. We stock the 14 pack as well if the household gets through them faster than that.
Penguin has been made since 1932, which makes the jokes a multi-generational inheritance rather than a marketing device. Keep the box somewhere cool, since the chocolate coating marks the wrapper once it warms.
Individually wrapped, so they survive a bag intact.
