Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
All orders are picked and dispatched from our premises at 19B Annvale Road, Keady, Co. Armagh, BT60 2SA, Northern Ireland.
1. Where we deliver
We deliver to:
- Northern Ireland
- Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales)
- Republic of Ireland
We do not currently deliver to: the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, BFPO addresses, or destinations outside the UK and Ireland.
Some remote and offshore postcodes carry a surcharge or a longer transit time. Where this applies, the correct charge is shown at checkout before you pay. Affected areas include the Scottish Highlands and Islands (AB, IV, KW, PA, PH, HS, ZE, KA27–28), and the Isles of Scilly (TR21–25).
2. Delivery options and charges
| Service | Estimated delivery | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Standard delivery | [X–X working days] | £[X.XX] |
| Free standard delivery | [X–X working days] | Free on orders over £[XX] |
| Express delivery | [X–X working days] | £[X.XX] |
| Local delivery — [radius] of Keady | [X working days] | £[X.XX] |
| Collection from Keady | [X working days] | Free |
Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout and added to your order total before you confirm and pay. The price you see at checkout is the full price — we do not add any further mandatory charges afterwards.
Large or heavy orders may be sent in more than one parcel. You will not be charged more than once for delivery of a single order.
3. Order cut-off and processing
Orders placed before [X pm] Monday to Friday are normally picked and dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after that time, or at a weekend or bank holiday, are processed on the next working day.
"Working day" means Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in Northern Ireland.
You will receive an order acknowledgement by email when you place your order, and a separate dispatch confirmation, with tracking where available, once your parcel leaves us. Your contract with us is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation.
We may hold an order briefly if we need to verify payment or delivery details. If we do, we will contact you.
4. Delivery times
All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Transit times begin from the day of dispatch, not the day you place the order.
Unless we have agreed otherwise with you, we will deliver your order within 30 days of your contract with us being formed. If we cannot, we will tell you and you may cancel the order for a full refund.
Deliveries are made by our carriers between approximately [8am and 5pm]. We cannot specify a delivery time slot in advance, though our carrier may offer you one directly once your parcel is in their network.
Delivery may take longer during busy periods, in severe weather, or where an event outside our reasonable control affects the carrier network. We will keep you informed if we know your order is affected.
5. Free delivery offers and promotions
Where we advertise free or discounted delivery, the offer, its qualifying spend and its end date will be stated clearly at the time. Any stated deadline is a real deadline — we do not use countdown timers, "today only" claims or similar urgency messages unless the offer genuinely ends when we say it does.
Qualifying spend is calculated on the value of goods after any discounts and before delivery charges. If you return items and this takes your order below the qualifying threshold, we may deduct the delivery charge you would otherwise have paid from your refund.
6. Tracking your order
Where the service you chose includes tracking, your dispatch confirmation will contain a tracking number and a link. Tracking information can take several hours to update after dispatch.
If your tracking has not updated for [3] working days, contact us at eamonn@linenvale.net with your order number and we will chase the carrier.
7. Nobody home, safe places and neighbours
Most of our parcels do not require a signature. If nobody is available, the carrier may:
- post the parcel through the letterbox where it fits;
- leave it in a safe place you have nominated with the carrier;
- leave it with a neighbour; or
- leave a card and attempt redelivery, or hold it at a local collection point.
If you nominate a safe place, either with us or directly with the carrier, the parcel is treated as delivered once it is left there, and we are not responsible for it after that point.
If you do not collect the parcel or rearrange delivery and it is returned to us, we will refund the cost of the goods. We may deduct the cost of the failed delivery and the return from your refund.
Please make sure your delivery address is correct before you confirm your order. If a parcel is undeliverable because the address you gave was wrong or incomplete, we may charge you the cost of redelivery.
8. Products we cannot send everywhere
Some of the products we sell are restricted by carrier or by law. This includes aerosols, some cleaning products, lighter refills and other flammable or pressurised goods.
These items:
- may only be sent by road, which can add to transit times;
- may be limited in quantity per parcel;
- cannot be sent to some offshore and remote destinations.
If an item in your basket cannot be sent to your address, we will tell you before we take payment, or contact you promptly afterwards and refund that item in full.
9. Food, dates and storage
We sell ambient (non-chilled, non-frozen) grocery products only. We do not ship chilled or frozen goods.
We aim to dispatch stock with a reasonable remaining shelf life. Please store products as directed on the packaging once they arrive, and check dates on arrival.
10. Damaged, missing or incorrect deliveries
Your order is our responsibility until it is delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive it at your delivery address. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or containing the wrong items, contact us at eamonn@linenvale.net with your order number and photographs of the item and the outer packaging. Where possible please tell us within 7 days so we can raise a claim with the carrier — this is a request, not a condition, and does not affect your statutory rights.
If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbours and around your property first, then contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.
We will replace or refund lost, damaged or incorrect items at no cost to you. Full details of your rights are in our Refund Policy.
11. Republic of Ireland and EU deliveries
Orders to the Republic of Ireland are dispatched from Northern Ireland. Under the arrangements applying to Northern Ireland, goods moving from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland and the EU do not require customs declarations, and there are no import duties for you to pay.
Delivery to the Republic of Ireland typically takes [X–X working days] from dispatch. Prices are charged in [GBP / EUR].
12. Cancelling and returning
Your right to cancel your order and return goods is set out in our Refund Policy. In short: you have 14 days from delivery to cancel most orders, though food, drink and hygiene-sealed goods are excluded once delivered or unsealed. Return postage for a change of mind is at your cost; we cover it where the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect.
