Maryland mini chocolate chip cookies, 6 pack. Small versions of the standard cookie, portioned into individual bags rather than sold as one open packet.
The portioning is the whole reason to buy these over a full pack. They go into a lunchbox without being crushed, they stop a child eating an entire packet in one sitting, and there is nothing left open in the cupboard afterwards.
Six bags is a school week with one spare.

Maryland cookies have been made in Britain since 1956, and the mini format is aimed squarely at the school lunch rather than the biscuit tin.
Keep the box somewhere dry. Small cookies soften faster than large ones once a bag is opened.
They also work well in a party bag or for a long car journey, where an open packet would not.
