Maryland chocolate chip cookies in a twin pack, 400g. Maryland is the cookie most British households buy without thinking about it: thin, crisp, and studded with chocolate chips rather than being a chocolate biscuit with a nod towards cookies.
They are crisper than a bakery cookie, which is what makes them work with tea. A twin pack is an acknowledgement of how quickly the first packet goes, particularly in a house with children.
Product Details
- Twin pack, 400g total
- Thin, crisp chocolate chip cookies
- Better value than two single packs
- Keep the second pack sealed
Fold the inner wrapper down properly on the open pack. Maryland cookies go soft faster than a denser biscuit once air gets to them.
Maryland cookies have been made in Britain since 1956 despite the American name, and the recipe has stayed recognisably the same throughout. The twin pack works out cheaper per biscuit than singles.
