Lavazza Qualità Rossa in a twin pack. Rossa is Lavazza's everyday Italian blend and probably the most widely drunk of their range, which is a reasonable recommendation in itself.
The grind suits a moka pot, a cafetière or a filter machine. In a moka it produces the strong, slightly sweet coffee Italian kitchens run on; in a cafetière give it four minutes before pressing.
