Kelkin Milk Chocolate Covered Rice Cakes 100g | Irish Snack

Kelkin milk chocolate covered rice cakes, 100g. Kelkin are an Irish brand who have been doing this since the 1980s, and the chocolate rice cake is the product most people know them for.

The idea is straightforward: a puffed rice cake with a layer of milk chocolate over one side, so you get the chocolate without the density of a biscuit. They are light enough that one does not feel like a decision, which is either the appeal or the danger depending on how the afternoon is going.

Product Details

• 100g pack
• Puffed rice cakes with milk chocolate
• Lighter than a chocolate biscuit
• Kelkin, an Irish brand

Keep the pack sealed once opened, since rice cakes soften quickly if air gets to them and a soft one is not worth eating.

They also make a reasonable alternative to a biscuit with a cup of tea if you want something with chocolate on it that is not quite so substantial. The 100g pack holds a decent number given how light each one is.

Kelkin have been an Irish health food name since 1983.
