Fox's jam and cream sandwich biscuits, 150g. A layer of jam and a layer of cream between two biscuits, which is a combination that has been in British biscuit tins for as long as there have been biscuit tins.
The jam is what stops the cream being simply sweet, and it is the reason the pairing works rather than being cloying. Cream on its own would be one note; jam gives it a second.
There is also a well-established faction who take them apart before eating, and no talking them out of it.

Fox's have been baking in Batley since 1853. We stock the 300g twin pack alongside this.
Fold the wrapper down between servings, since the jam keeps the biscuit soft and it dries out once opened.
