Burton's Jammie Dodgers in a twin pack, 16 biscuits. Two shortcake biscuits with raspberry-flavoured jam between them and a heart cut out of the top, which every child in Britain and Ireland can identify at ten paces.
The heart is not decoration. It shows the jam, which is the whole selling point, and it is the reason the biscuit has never needed advertising to children who have already seen it.
Sixteen in a twin pack is a realistic quantity rather than an optimistic one.

Jammie Dodgers have been made since 1960 and named after Roger the Dodger from the Beano, which is a small piece of trivia that improves the biscuit not at all and is worth knowing anyway.
Keep the second pack sealed until needed and store somewhere dry.
