Burton's Jammie Dodgers, 140g. Two shortcake biscuits with raspberry-flavoured jam between them and a heart cut out of the top, which every child in Britain and Ireland can identify at ten paces.
The heart is not decoration. It shows the jam, which is the whole selling point, and it is why the biscuit has never needed advertising to children who have already seen one.
It is also one of the more durable biscuits in the tin, since the jam holds the two halves together rather than letting them shatter.

Jammie Dodgers have been made since 1960 and named after Roger the Dodger from the Beano, which improves the biscuit not at all and is worth knowing anyway.
We stock the twin pack and the minis alongside this. Keep the pack sealed and dry.
