Bisto gravy powder, 454g. The original product rather than the granules, and a genuinely different thing: powder is a thickener and colouring that you add to meat juices, rather than a complete gravy you add water to.
That is the whole distinction, and it matters. Granules make gravy on their own. Powder makes your gravy better, which is why it is what people use when there is a roasting tin full of juices to work with.
Mix it with cold water to a paste first, then stir into the hot pan juices. Adding powder to hot liquid gives you lumps that will not disperse.
