Barny chocolate soft baked bears, 5 pack, 125g. Small bear-shaped sponge cakes with a chocolate filling inside, individually wrapped and aimed squarely at lunchboxes.
The shape does real work with younger children, and the individual wrapping means they go into a bag without being crushed or leaving crumbs through everything else. Sponge survives being sat on rather better than a biscuit does.
Five is a school week, which is presumably how the pack size was arrived at.

- 5 individually wrapped sponges, 125g
- Bear-shaped sponge with chocolate filling
- Survives a lunchbox without crumbling
- One per school day
We stock the milk filling version alongside these, and most households with more than one child end up buying both.
Keep the box sealed and somewhere cool. Sponge dries out faster than biscuit once the outer packaging is opened.
Barny is made by Mondelez and is common across Europe, with a lower profile here than the format deserves.
